People asked to pray for injured pilgrim
In the early hours of Wednesday 28 July, a tragic accident occurred in which one of the pilgrims in Lourdes with the Diocese of Westminster was seriously injured in a fall.
At present he is receiving excellent medical care in hospital in Toulouse. The family have been informed.
Archbishop Vincent Nichols, who is leading the diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes, said: ' I ask that this pilgrim be remembered in peoples’ prayers. I would like to thank all who are caring for the injured pilgrim so attentively.'
