We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Catechetical Co-ordinator to assist in the running of catechetical programmes in Sacred Heart of Jesus parish in Kilburn. S/he will be responsible for co-ordinating all catechetical programs including First Holy Communion, Reconciliation Confirmation, RCIA and Children’s Liturgy, as well as co-ordinating the recruitment and ongoing training of all the catechists in the parish programmes.
The successful applicant will be experienced in catechetical and pastoral ministry, and must be a strong team player with excellent communication, IT and administrative skills. Experience in a similar role would be preferred but is not essential.
It is important that the successful applicant is motivated, organised and able to work to their own initiative within this role.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (including evenings and weekends)
